I have been in the Health and Fitness industry since 2002. Starting as a Jr. Football coach I was able to assist in performance elevation for Junior High School students and grew a successful business on Sports Performance, Private Training, and Large Group Boot Camps. I also had the opportunity to coach High School Varsity Pole Vault, further expanding the success of my performance training model. I was actively involved in local sports teams which allowed me to train both athletes and their families. This experience was very rewarding, It allowed me to gain a deep understanding of program design and implementation as I attended Montclair State University with a major in Exercise Science.
In 2006 I relocated to Florida where I started working with LA Fitness as a Personal Trainer and quickly elevated through the ranks based on performance and client success. I finished my career with LA Fitness as acting District Vice President. It was then when I decided to move away from the for-profit industry and step into the non-profit industry. I began working with the YMCA of Broward County as a Personal Trainer while attending Broward College and obtaining a Technical Degree as a Paramedic. I also obtained my Firefighter II certification through Broward Fire Academy. I was able to elevate through the ranks while working with the YMCA as well.
My final title was Senior Director of Health and Wellbeing, I was charged with the responsibility of all Wellness operations based out of Weston, FL. This included programming for Group Exercise, Spinning, Youth Group Exercise, Active Older Adults, Performance Training, Personal Training, Wellness camps and Special Events, Wellness Operations, and Member Engagement. My motivation has always been driven by the lifestyle change and success of my clients. I aspire to be just a small part of everyone's success story.
Our training methods challenge everyone, regardless of experience, age, or fitness level. You will work at a pace that is right for you and perform a volume of work that is geared to your needs. Are you getting started? We'll gradually ramp up the level of challenge as you become accustomed to our training. Are you an experienced trainee? We'll be pushing you from the beginning. In all cases, though, our primary concern is on proper execution of the exercises.
You'll find that the vast majority of our bootcamp participants are professionals in their late-20s to late 50s, although we have had everyone from teenagers to newly retired. Our style of training & coaching tends to attract friendly, easy-going people, so you are sure to get along with everyone you meet!.
